Craig Rosewarne
Craig has over 20 years’ management experience in the fields
of cyber security, cyber privacy, and cyber resilience; he has
trained executive and operational teams in excess of 100
organisations, and has provided oversight on over 600 projects
in this domain. Craig is widely recognised for establishing the
Information Security Group of Africa, a section 21 company in
2005 and chairing it for 7 years. He was furthermore invited to
take up an EMEA directorship of the SANS Institute – a global
leader in the information security & forensics sectors.
Craig is the MD of Wolfpack Information Risk – a South African
company specialising in cyber threat intelligence, research,
training, awareness and advisory services; a community of
9000+ information and cyber security specialists subscribe to Wolfpack’s regular community
updates. He was previously the Associate Director of Deloitte’s Risk Advisory Services and
also headed up Deloitte School of Risk Management and Innovation - responsible on a
national level for learning and innovation for a team of over 400 professionals. He founded
Alert Africa in 2015 to provide pro bono awareness resources and assistance to victims of
cybercrime or harassment.
Craig is an author, instructor and keynote speaker - he is frequently invited to chair or present
at SA and international conferences on information security, risk, cybercrime, counter-
terrorism, etc. He also provides regular opinion pieces via TV, radio and print/online media.
